v-JAYS Out Now

We're thrilled to announce that c-JAYS finally got a little brother... and we must admit - it's a loud one!

They're called v-JAYS and are landing in our warehouses as I write so you'll be able to pick them up in European stores in a couple of weeks. We started the v-JAYS project with the idea of making a pair of portable headphones with a heavy-bass-impact-horse-kick-punch still keeping the clarity and all those small little details in the music which often disappears in dark, bassy headphones. And we believe we pulled it off. We also managed to make them even smaller and lighter than the multi-functional c-JAYS.

Below are a few comments from some guys in our test crew:

"...Spectrally, this is a very "colored" headphone, with some very nice bass boost below ~250Hz to compliment the upper midrange brightness. I think it is more "colored" than any of my Grados, with a more aggressive "U" shaped EQ curve. I like the dynamic / transient characteristics of this headphone.  It appears to be a very detail revealing headphone, super-fast and snappy sounding.  Even with bass-heavy kinds of sounds.  I think the detail resolution is its biggest strength.  When I use it at home in a quiet setting wow... details in spades.I think its upper midrange/treble boost makes it more detail revealing than my RS1, really thrusting forward those high frequency sounds."

So, there you have it! They all come in black along with an extension cable and an extra pair of foam cushions.
